DESCRIPTION:The 60th Mt Angel Oktoberfest — the largest folk festival in the Northwest — is September 11-14! The streets of Mt Angel become filled with celebration. Join in the German/Swiss festival and see why Mt Angel Oktoberfest is a Touch of Bavaria.\n\n\nThe Oktoberfest Kindergarten is a special place for familie. Open on Friday\, Saturday and Sunday of Oktoberfest from 11:00am to 5:00pm.\, Kindergarten is fun for families\, and fun that doesn’t even touch the pocket book; there is no admission\, no ride tickets; just come and enjoy!\n\n\nKid-friendly activities include:\n-A rock climbing wall\n-Wiener dog races\n-Arts and crafts\n-Live performances\n-Street dances\n-Rides\n-Plenty of traditional food and drink\n\n \n\n\nVisit the event host’s website for a full schedule of activities and performances.\n\n\nMost events at Oktoberfest are free. Families and individuals of all ages are welcome to attend concerts at the Bandstand and St. Mary Church at no cost. This includes the street dances on Friday and Saturday evening at the Bandstand. Just show up to be part of the fun! The Kindergarten has no admission and the activities and rides are all free\, compliments of Mount Angel Oktoberfest and our Kindergarten sponsors\, including K & E Excavating\, PGE\, and Wilco Farm Stores. The rides are offered by MADJEK Inc. The Cruz’n Car Shows on Saturday and Sunday are open to all comers to check out the wheels.
